Episode 9: What is a ‘normal’ labor and delivery? (a conversation with doula Tory McQueen)

mom and babyThis episode was a blast! I interviewed the doula who not only worked with me but who also attended my own labor and delivery. Tory McQueen, top-notch doula and midwife-in-training, offers fantastic advice for first time moms in particular. She helps answer the question, “What is a normal labor and delivery?”. Many moms wonder what labor and delivery will actually look like, how long it will last, and what they can do to prepare. We answer many of those questions in this episode. We also explore some of the advantages of longer labors – yes, you read that correctly: advantages to laboring for a long time period!
